First, hotspot is most battery drain function, even you no touch the phone
Sometime if unifi down i no choice need use hotspot for pc

And system app no use is disable it, not turn off notification, pointless if turn of notification it still running at background

Listening to music on earphones, surfing web and Youtube, turning the phone as a hotspot for other phones. I don't play games on the phone.

Like for instance, the 5000mAh battery from Xperia 1 VI can even last longer than Vivo X200 Pro with 6000mAh battery with flying color

Xperia 1080P display, Vs 1440P from Vivo...sure lah. You try previous Xperia 1 V, 4k display without LTPO...screen stay 144hz all the time, even idle...it cant even last half day. Either battery low, or overheat warning popout asking you switch from 144 to 60

All my previous phones can't seem to last a whole day before it requires charging. My current phone the Vivo X90 Pro's battery capacity is 4870mAh and it can't last up to 12 hours with moderate to heavy use, and I will need to charge it in the afternoon as the battery power drops to less than 50% with moderate to heavy use.

I was wondering, if looking at the battery spec what is the capacity that one would be looking at for the phone to last at least 12 hours with moderate to heavy use, say 7am to 7pm. Will a phone with 6000mAh+ battery capacity be able to last up to 12 hours with moderate to heavy use?

It's not exactly a 'user problem' but a matter of preference. As we all know, battery capacity is not the only criteria that is important in the selection of phones as there are other more important criteria that take precedence over battery capacity.

I'm previous owner of Xperia 1 V, it can last me 1 day half to 2 days easily. But of course Xperia 1 VI is even better because of the lower resolution. I never got any overheat warning due to screen display, maybe very excessive use of camera under the sun would trigger that.

Thanks. I will take note and check on some useless apps which I don't use at all which are already pre-installed on the phone previously when I bought the new phone. It is true sometimes some of these apps will send notification and I need to clear all the notification of these useless apps which I don't use. Perhaps all this is draining the power of the battery as you have mentioned.

I watching 4k youtube, it always pop out after 40 - 60 minute. 4k video recording, 20-25 minute, warning will pop out.
1 day half..you must be using lower resolution and 60 fps.  4k resolution + 120hz refresh rate cannot tahan...

Honor X9D is able to last 12 hours with heavy use without requiring charging? Unfortunately that phone doesn't appeal to me. My future phone will be one that comes with a 6000mAh+ battery capacity which isn't launched in the market yet.
