Hi

I currently have a problem with my PC of 5 years..

1. When turned on, lights and fans come on but nothing shows on the monitor. I often have to force shutdown and retry multiple times before it finally boots.

2. PC cannot wake from sleep mode, forcing me to hard restart.

3. Recently got “out of video memory” error while gaming.

4. System is slow and laggy, likely because SSD is full.

5. To avoid shutdown issues, I keep the PC running all the time.

I hav 0 knowledge on PC..but I think is due to

GPU (GTX 1070) may be failing, the casing also already patah..I have been all the while supporting with some card board to make it stand inside the casing.

Was wondering where can I find ppl to help check and repair or even upgrade?

thought of upgrade to something compatible with PSU/motherboard.

Replace PSU with a reliable 600–650W unit if needed and add bigger SSD

Not planning to upgrade RAM now, 16GB is enough for gaming.

Current PC Specs

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Motherboard: GALAX B450M (micro-ATX, DDR4 support)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB
RAM: 16GB (2×8GB DDR4, all slots filled)
Storage: 256GB SSD (full) + 1TB HDD (75% full

PSU: Unknown (have not checked the label yet)

Any one knows where can I send for enquire or assistance to upgrade or check?

2. PC cannot wake from sleep mode, forcing me to hard restart.
- likely harddisk full, check Window drive, the C:/ Drive diskspace
3. Recently got “out of video memory” error while gaming.
- likely harddisk full also? check Window drive, the C:/ Drive diskspace

Might be something to do with virtual memory and Hibernation setting gua
Delete unused files or move to External harddisk

free up those disk space and transfer to more latest hard drive.

Windows C:\ needs space for file swapping and hibernation state.. is a Windows thingy and you can't occupy that drive space 100%.

Never a good idea to fill up an SSD esp if its your bootdrive. Max I go is 75% full. 256GB is way too small for a gaming PC, and newer games these days require install to a SSD.

Change that 1st with 1/2TB Gen3 SSD and reinstall fresh Windows and see if the problem happens. Then change PSU (FSP HV Pro 650W or MSI A650BN)

Hi guys do you think it's because of this C drive full that's making it unable to start? Does having a full ssd usually cause problems of booting issue like this?

Fans and CPU lights are on just that nothing is showing on the monitor.. Still don't know if it's a GPU fault or other things

When you boot, can it display the startup screen and you can go into bios? If theres nothing on display at all, its usually the GPU...

Nothing at all to display when I boot..no startup screen, just black

Strong case will need to change my GPU soon..will just upgrade the other parts together as well

Better bring to a shop to help troubleshoot whats the issue. They will have parts can swap around to find out which is failure.

If you remove GPU there is nothing to display onscreen. Thats what Im saying coz that CPU doesnt have igpu.
