Malaysian new intake at Taiwan reached 10 years low. Analysts said China universities ain't the reason, but the completeness and better roadmap of local unis deters Malaysian to go Taiwan, despite lucrative offer of scholarship from Taiwan gov.

Analysts suggest Taiwan tertiary educators should not only focus on 22% of Malaysians, but focus on 100% of Malaysians. To achieve this step, Taiwan tertiary programs should be shifted to English based lecture instead of using Mandarin.

-u can study as early in May/June intake in malaysia, in TW u need september to start class

-China, the new competitor , snatch the good outstanding chinese to go china

-after the covid meta , a lot parent want spend much more time closer to their children, hence no plan to send them so far away, they are willing to fork out huge fortune to make them stay in malaysia by attending local uni / priv uni and endure the humble frugal life

-there are few murdered case of our own people, one in 2011 and 2022, making a huge decision for parent not to send there except vacation

-some ppl are not get use to Traditional Chinese , because we use simplified chinese

-inflation meta take place in taiwan, even the taiwan people leave the country to find job oversea , job , rental , COL sky rocked

-dont forgoet, ppl go Aus and even migrate there now
