Not necessary whether the company is doing well or not, as public listed company, shareholders’ priority is imperative meaning if the bid amount more than whatever amount valued by Warner, then they must propose to the shareholders for consideration, of course I am talking about the majority shareholders. It’s capitalism.

Studios love buying each other but half the time it just ends up with layoffs and fewer movies. Not sure audiences gain anything.

Well this may create issues with the anti competition pipuls. Warner n paramount are not really MGM n Amazon Prime or Disney + Lucas Film omor 20th century Fox.

Paramount n Sony pictures merger is more likely than Paramount + Warner which are in the top 5 business movie makers.
