To start, your uncommunicated, nonsensical rule about banning online access for not logging into AmBank Online within 90 days is outrageous. Nobody told me this when I opened my savings account, which, by the way, doesn’t even come with a debit card! How am I supposed to know about a policy you never bothered to explain? This lack of transparency is maddening and has left me stranded without access to my own money. When I called your customer service to sort this mess out, I was stuck on the phone for over an hour—AN HOUR—with zero resolution. The agent had the audacity to tell me to drag myself to a physical branch to get a “replacement card” for a debit card I never knew existed, never received, and apparently can’t even be traced! No delivery details, no tracking records—nothing! How is this acceptable? To top it off, I tried resetting my password with my credit card number, only to be slapped with a cryptic T018 error that got me nowhere. Your AmBank Online platform is as useless as your customer service, which is saying something because both are an absolute disgrace. I’m now forced to wait through a long public holiday before I can even think about resolving this during working hours at a branch—because apparently, your systems can’t handle basic issues without wasting my time and energy. This entire ordeal is infuriating, and I’m sick of jumping through hoops for something that’s entirely your fault. Fix this immediately. Scrap your absurd 90-day login rule, communicate account requirements clearly, and get your customer service act together. I think the 90 days rule is to prevent mule accounts used for scam purposes but credit card online account by right shall not be that way if with active transactions.
At least shall email or sms user to inform will be locked before lock.

As unker who did frontline customer service. it is never good idea to be Karen to front line staff who is already doing they best to resolve your issue.
Those staff is lowly paid and do shift work. They dun has all the power just do your "simple" request. Deswai ask you go branch for certain things.
You do lidis show your superior just ensure that noone wants to deal with you. Not what you want when it comes to fianncials

And what is that about the bank not telling the customers about physical card until something go shit?
I had this happened to me before where the bank blocked my account and card from online transaction while I was in Singapore. That was the most infuriating shit ever because all my bills are paid online using the card and account.

Kah kah i had the same error and same reaction with their customer service. You need a damn debit card to access their online app and website now. I also was never given a debit card despite having a savings account and mortgage loan for over 10 years. In the end hv to go to physical branch and get a debit card….
