also graphics designers have been replaced waaay long time ago ever since sites like canva and any free webservices comes in and just make a quick and easy to use template that most ppl just happily use lol.

i think msoft and google is more like..
overinvested into AI like openai, couldn't figure out how to make it profitable enough, so have to cut ppl off and then force every employees to use AI to make it worth their spending lol

What was the reason for Olympics? To reduce wars that have high cost to human lives, athletes compete in non-fatal competitions so that their national leaders can have bragging rights.

In future, or even now in Ukraine-Russia, wars will all be fought by computers, so to reduce high cost of losing drones and humanoid robots in wars.....

Just saying, the cut not because of AI. Level of AI today is not on par (yet) to replace large amount of jobs if comparing from capability standpoint. AI is the excuse just like saying i am firing you cause our horoscope incompatible, totally baseless but they have to tell people something … CEO cant go around saying “I suck as I cant lift company profit, so i have to layoff to reduce expenses to show good profit”

AI today = excuse to retrench not capability replacement …

Olympics = entertainment = reality tv

Robot will not replace sports, it but create new segment of entertainment…

Since there will be less jobs available, many people will live on UBI n fulltime on leisure n sport. Sports will be one of the avenue to get extra income.

Some new gen construction companies are investing in concrete printing tech. People are skeptical because there are no historical data on how long houses made this way would lasts. The earliest one made was just 2021.

You would still need a designer/ engineer to create these houses. Unless someone has an AI app that could design on the fly like a video game for potential customers.
