You put a conti there but with a treler, it will be end up the same only. From physics point of view, the weight of the treler contributed just too much of force onto the car.

damn that overhang of the front lorry. can easily go into the cabin and bypass whatever the protection from the anti-crash bar/structure in the engine compartment.
probably need to add anti-crash bar for the back of the lorries so that the crash from cars would be distributed more into the front engine parts.
