Correct me if wrong, those who suicide actually rarely get punished but asked to go for counselling. It's there just as a prevention.

Remember that YBB? She didn't go for jail. However, another incident is a guy got fined though because he changed his mind while attempting for suicide and considered as waste bomba resources or etc. but the fine not really heavy.

Over 1k suicide cases in Malaysia.

Around 5-6 people in 100k
