I just bought CX30 full spec last year, not because I dont like China cars or EV but give maybe another 5 more years see how. Next car probably will be an EV
Also Bermaz is very slow to react to market. CX60 tease so long to launch but end up 2.5 engine when all prospect buyers are looking forward to 3.3, Mazda 3 2.0 sell so expensive even if CBU now desperate bring in 1.5 with much lower price to gain some sales. CX5 facelift CKD they take out the larger screen which other markets get, same for CX30 still on 2nd refresh when other markets already on 3rd or 4th refresh. Same story for Kia, after taking over from Naza for like 5 years so far only 3 models? Wtf

Problem is Bermaz still think they are at early 2010s or 2020s when their only competition is T and H. Mazda does drive and feels better than T and H (and its still better than many C brands), that time people dont mind spending a bit more to get it
Now with so many choices which give more for less, that strategy obviously not gonna work anymore. T and H could care less since they have the brand loyalty, but not Mazda since its always seen as just an alternative, and it's not the only alternative anymore in the current market

By the time they launch the model people already flock to other brands

in a land where city and vios dominate in B segment, complete with ADAS below 100k mark, they decided to put their mazda 2, above 100k and WITHOUT ADAS . THeir main selling point is , "drives better", "a driver's car" or those crap .

Won't tutup lah. Not every brand needs economies of scale. If want say tutup, probably Subaru will tutup first without any CKD plans
