Hi, fellow forumers & sifu.

Hope some help.

my laptop screen start to behave with sudden glitch. The glitch is all horizontal.

At first, it just happen at the windows bar, last few lines, but seems like getting worse

using a Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05 with GTX 1650 since 2021

No drops or anything, I careful user.

Happens whether laptop is hot or cold

Any suggestion? TIA

Probably loose contact at ribbon cable connector to screen since there is movement each time you open and close the laptop screen.

thanks.

this cable is inside/behind the lcd screen itself, right?

Edit - tested using 2nd screen. All okay on 2nd screen, looks like confirm, ribbon connector or the screen itself

Not sure brave enough to disassemble the lcd

LCD cable broken. Need replacement. Next time don't always open and close the laptop frequently.

Just an update.

It's the LCD screen, not the cable. Had it fixed at Digital Mall moneyflies.gif
