i still remember those long queues outside the apple store in japan — back then, the msrp there was cheaper than in china. this time, china’s msrp is a bit lower, but buying in japan is still worth it since tourists get a 10% tax rebate. that works out to around 50 dollars, or about 350 yuan in savings.

i bought ip11 there back in 2019, and after an ios update here the shutter sound went away.

still have the itinerary with the price difference in it.
