When RtK was still high-school right after SPM trials straight away look up for scholarships, both local and abroad.

Cos parent said, they're not gonna spend monies on mah education. So either scholarship or PTPTN.
(cos they got scholarships during their high school)

Cukur got frens parents that's created a group of parents to look through and apply for it

In the end found 12 after SPM, 8 went through.
Didn't care about courses, so took Sine Bhabi/Tigerbank/JPA/ASEAN/BNM/University etc etc

Didn't even try UPU/STPM
It did help that I was in several engineering related international competitions, some sports medals (state-only)
And mah fakku engurish accent

Got 3 in the end, so finally had decision to make

Heck frens and I even plan to take A-levels if phailed - back up was sign-up for GMI & go study in Germany (had a couple that did that)

Kinda sad when got to know my ex-gf only applied for JPA, then said we nons no choice can only get if straight A+

Then had to teach her a 'lesson', she took A-levels cos wanna go LSE
she got JPA but was engineering
She married now, with angmoh so good thing didn't take JPA I think

Take easy route get shit outcome.

If you want to play safe, take diploma and just endure. But at least the degree transition is seamless.
