I don't know about you guys for us it has already been a norm and a known fact. If you are a non, your chances are slim to be accepted into public universities. It was never based on merit but based on race quota. I understand that this is hard to swallow let alone accept but it is what it is.
For so many years, we have learned to silently accept this as a norm and hence the need for the nons to work harder, work smarter and try to seek greener pastures elsewhere. Dont label us as unpatriotic when some of us leave the country for better opportunities overseas, when some of us migrate.
