I kind of glad my parents very strict with spending $$ on lifestyle.

I honestly didn't know my dad can make that much money because growing up they are very frugal. You buy new only when old one rosak habis cannot be repaired. So most our car use at least 10+ years, and we change only if got someone need a new car so we can pass the old car to that person. lol. Usually we just get quotation about the resale value, then pitch the same amount with 4k cash rebate. Also drive to our long time mechanics tell him replace everything that is breaking down. Never give reason to relatives who "buy" the car from us to complain.
