House (landed or strata) have become too expensive and unaffordable to buy even in sub urban areas. Renting is cheaper now. We are fast becoming like HK, China, Soith Korea and Japan (recalled in the 80’s when their people spent on luxury items cos they cannot earn enough to pay for down payment or monthly mortgage).

Tatau la. How many can afford 1MM condo with buildups of 800-900 sq feet nowadays and not included maintenance fees. Unless you buy off the secondary market which is about 5-7 years ones la.
Landed? Can get 1MM in BK la. But almost 10-15 years ones.

With that prices, might as well rent a condo at around 1.5 k. Peace of mind and no worry about VSS etc.

income tax for that range after potokg here and there is like 2k saja, I think.
