iphone 15 above , always check battery health, iphone will show part that is non-genuine or genuine one by Settings > General > About and look for the Parts and Service History section

if your iphone never service before then it is all genuine and wont show part and service history which good news

also u might need to ensure the apple id really log out from the iphone yea, there been few case of unable to login due to previous owner lazy omgelul forget lazy log out, happen to one of my relative , lucky can contact back the owner

be very careful if u buy used iphones, there are many things to check if the iphone is legit or not

below are the list of things that can happen when u buy a used iphone

1) screen crack before, changed with OEM screen, face id and true tone wont work
2) back glass crack before, changed with OEM back glass
3) telco set
4) US set with no sim card slot, only esim, a mod is performed to add a sim card slot into the US set iphone, it involves cutting into the body of the iphone
5) battery changed with non original battery

its not easy to find a used iphone that dont have any of the problems listed above
