2 reasons

1. tourist don't even know it and they don't advertise it, pass that place many place, i wouldn't even know there is cheap whole chicken inside
2. tourist don't come here to eat that

good old rule, if sell too low then something wrong, this usually right, also same concept with buy 1 free 1 especially product that soon to be expire

The 1st time i bought few years ago was only rm9.90, even at rm16.90 it is still cheapest.
Not just BKT Bintang, everywhere also no Q.

Baker's Cottage chain is owned by Leong Hup. Leong Hup is one of the country's biggest chicken producer. BC basically dapat ayam harga kilang instead of harga borong thats why can jual murah everyday.

Used to have to walk down jln gading to their outlet (near entrance to kl plaza suites) to get a roast chicken. Now they're selling it up the hill at their bkt bintang outlet.
I had one last week. It's no longer a whole round roast chicken. The spatchcocked bird is nice n juicy, and the packets of chillie garlic sauce they give is ok. Hope the offer lasts till Jan 18 2026.
