Asking because I do want to earn more, but unlikely to have more time to devote myself to unless stuff in my carousell manage to sell haha.
We don't have money throw here throw there like, VIPs and such, what is your side hustle?

QUOTE(gashout @ Sep 11 2025, 04:03 AM) Agree. Step 1 is already impossible because a) shift work and b) 6 days workweek. that's why selling on carou for pittance haha, but I do enjoy it though. Only other feasible option is use my one off day for carboot sale, but the planning that leads up to that is not something I'm a fan of. Everyone talks about side hustle like their energy level can keep on going for 247. Step 1 of side hustle is to have a main job that allow you to finish work at 4pm or earlier. 2pm even better. If this step you dont have, you only have jobs to prove your loyalty by working till 6pm to 10pm, gg to side hustle. Step 2 of side hustle is do a job that pays well with the few hours that maybe you can stretch till 8pm or so. If everyday can make 200 to 300, thats 4k to 6k extra per month. So many ideas, use chatgpt, don't ask people here what to do. You still need to rest so you've energy tomorrow. And yes. Health is wealth. People sacrifice health to make wealth then use wealth to fix their health. What a waste of time. Step 2 is 50-50 for me because I do want to spend time with my kid as much as I can before she goes to kindy/school. I'm taking care of myself as best I can, thanks for the advice. Yeah I also don't want to be stuck trying to earn money but when your family goads you thinking that you can be entrepreneurial, without realizing that sunk cost fallacy is very real and that not all businesses succeed, you ponder. |

QUOTE(cempedaklife @ Sep 12 2025, 08:17 PM) Slowly Kais. Keep cost low. Save more. Invest more. doing the carousell thing to pay off my lost money from scam You got side hustle you enjoy good la. I also do small small thing. Like do online survey for pittance. And sell my stuff 2nd hand on carousell. Money get from carousell bank in to kids acc. had that initial thought as well. Just gotta work and balance things out for the next 3 years at least. Tbh I do worry about how it will be later on should my kid go for kindergarten, but I can only work and hope that things will work out for the better. |
