the army follow the orders of the army command aka generals

the one who is going to be kicked out will be politicians, the army command will likely be spared unless they did crimes like killing citizens

so imagine la, u general and u order the execution of ppl. when the govt finally collapses and a new one is put in place, the first thing they do to u is to hang u. that is if the angry mob did not kill u first
