Malaysia-born singer JessC continues her unstoppable global rise. Her Mandarin album “My Style” has achieved remarkable chart success on China’s streaming platforms and radio stations; her Malay album “Dekati” sparked “JessC Fever” in Indonesia with its diverse musical styles; and her English single “Six Feet Deep” successfully broke into the Western market, gaining airplay on Z100 New York and KIIS FM Sydney within just 2 months.

Adding to this momentum, the Australia-based artist recently celebrated another milestone. At the prestigious InterContinental Music Awards 2025 (ICMA), held in Los Angeles to honour global music creators, she won the “Best Asian Pop” award for “My Style”. This recognition makes JessC one of the biggest winners in the “Best of Asia” category, marking three major triumphs in less than 6 months — in China, Indonesia and North America.

The ICMA is one of the most influential international music awards, judged by an elite panel of industry experts from the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. The jury includes producers and songwriters who have worked with global icons such as Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, Selena Gomez, Ricky Martin and Westlife. Importantly, ICMA winners gain not only international recognition but also opportunities to step onto even bigger global stages, including the Grammy Awards.

JessC’s winning entry was praised for its originality, artistic expression and cross-cultural impact, highlighting her ability to transcend geographical and linguistic boundaries. The star shared that the honour of winning “Best Asian Pop” is not just her personal achievement but a victory for her entire team and supporters. “Music has the power to heal, connect hearts, and bridge cultures. I’m deeply grateful for this recognition, and this award belongs to everyone who has supported our music,” she said in a press statement.

With this award fueling her journey, the singer is now launching a global promotion for her upcoming single “One Chance”. Starting this September in major U.S. cities, the campaign will continue across Europe and South America, with an ambitious goal to leave her musical footprint in 50 countries and 100 cities by the end of the year.
