Sarawak tree people eat this. They call it tabas.

Yep. Last time i caught a biawak behind my house because my backyard chickens keep missing which i presumed got eaten by biawak. Then my neighbor next door wanted to buy it for RM100 lol.

Just google "tabas biawak" on Facebook and you'll find a handful of Sarawakians eat biawak.

But please don't eat biawak though. We might find them annoying but they really keeps crocodile population at bay. One reason why there are so many crocodile attacks in Sarawak lately is because some locals keep eating biawak. Biawak eats crocodile eggs and their hatchlings, thus controlling crocodile populations.
