Big country and population, and there is a divide between the urban and rural area.
Development also focus on certain areas like Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Khon Kean, Phuket and Rayong. There are also large chunks of rural area. that are mainly rice fields. The salary may be low, but the cost of living is affordable. |
