i always feel the greasy, sweet palm fat fillings of the mooncake disgusting. then the exterior stale, sticky, and odd-tasting skin.
most of the time they just sell the packaging, with modern twist to different fillings like durian etc.

I prefer the traditional mooncake, which has less filling and a crunchy, fluffy baked exterior. Last time my colleague buy from johor. nice
