i always feel the greasy, sweet palm fat fillings of the mooncake disgusting. then the exterior stale, sticky, and odd-tasting skin.
most of the time they just sell the packaging, with modern twist to different fillings like durian etc.

I prefer the traditional mooncake, which has less filling and a crunchy, fluffy baked exterior. Last time my colleague buy from johor. nice

But only to people who i want to die/suffer or enemies disguised as friend type of ppl.

Usually i will buy around 8piece, or typically 2box for people that i don't really like, but for ppl that i really hope they suffer i'll just buy 4box and give them.

Also, i won't buy too cheap, because i want them to actually consume that shit, so have have to get at least some branded/luxurious boxed type ones so they will think twice of throwing, and will eat because they think it's atas brand.

Yes it's a little expensive, but it really won't put any dent in my monthly expense anyway.

I won't even explain here why mooncake is extremely bad for your health, just keep eating ya. haha

I sendiri bake with homemade pure lotus paste and homemade salted egg yolk.

If sendiri don’t know how to bake, can try KEE WAH from HK. Premium price but premium quality too. Someone sent me a box, my boy finished it within few days 😅

Never a fan of mooncake to begin with .. especially the salted egg in the middle. Even if I had to eat one, I just eat the red bean paste and discard the yolk ..
