CPP or C++ is actually a higher level language than C hence its actually easier to learn

in computer science they classify language difficulty based on their level and your endgame will be Assembly language, that will be the closest to machine language and the hardest to master

in order of highest level to lowest level,

python > java/C# > C++ > C > Assembly

yup, nowadays rarely ppl code in C anymore, most ppl are using newer or higher level languages

nowadays u can pretty much do alot of things with python, or java

yes for games mostly in cpp, but java is more commonly used in other areas

java's strength is its a higher level language hence it have more features and frameworks than cpp, u will write lesser lines of code in java than in cpp for developing the same app and the code will be less complicated in java too, thats why many ppl prefer java over cpp

but cpp strength is speed and efficiency, so unless u wan best performance and speed then u choose cpp
