Power to the wheels is also largely affected by the gearbox. Since no manufacturer publish dyno results, buyers largely depend on test drives to get a real world feel of the car capabilities.

Would be interesting to see which 4at and cvt the new saga will use.

If can keep up with Vois and City this sage would be good, bcs always on highway these Vios and City drivers will bully slower cars.
But price 60-65k might be too expensive for a saga??

Don't think so, here is some price comparison with estimates for the new Saga thrown in

Even 39-45k also can't fight with bezza, now want to increase to 47-58k like persona price. Sohem only will buy.

Basically Proton no longer have viable models (donor Geely) to compete with small car specialist Daihstsu hence the A-segment is not something they can attempt to retain market share

Hatch - Axia
Sedan - Bezza
Suv - Ativa

The new Saga platform expanding into aeroback and crossover is much more viable strategy in moving towards B-segments
