About 6 hours later, one of the staff claimed that she had misplaced her bag, so we brought her to security. Double checked everything, then she claimed that there was RM2000+ missing from the bag, plus her IC and stuff. None of us knew about this, and we informed her if that was the case, then we will need her to issue a police report regarding the missing cash and IC.

The staff was clearly terrified, and she told us that her manager needs to know this, so we explained the whole thing to him as well. Manager just told her curtly that she was not to take out the cash from the till, and told her to compensate the lost amount by today, to which she said that she have to ask her aunt, so on so on. Manager also told her that she will be reported to her bosses if she can't fork out the money.

An hour later, security came back, telling me that it was her who stole the money (!!!) based on the CCTV recording. She had discreetly took the money from her pouch and just left her handbag there, assuming that her spot can't be seen by CCTV. Aiseh.

I mean, if you wanted to bail with the RM2k and leave your job, that's up to you. Why need to act, put handbag as if you misplaced it and make story? Legit wasting my time.

Then if polis investigate, kena kantoi lah if you see her stealing money in the CCTV footage. Luckily this is just within security only.

I won't say hidden, I would say discreet because the positioning of the CCTV here always overlap with other cameras. She might have thought that she's hidden from one, but unaware of the other because there was a glass wall next to her sitting area.

last week we just witnessed a serial thief at Mr DIY kena teruk2 from the manager, because he won't let them check his bag. Lagilah pakai cap, body language semacam. Nothing wrong then why don't wanna show. In the end he was made to remove the goods, or they will report to polis.
