Female cosplayer found dead at Bayan Lepas condominium

BALIK PULAU: A woman dressed in an anime costume was found dead after falling from a condominium in Bayan Lepas on Wednesday (Sept 3) night.

The incident occurred around 9.20pm when residents heard a loud noise and later discovered her body in the parking area.

A resident initially thought it was an earthquake but was shocked to see the woman lying on the ground.

The victim, who was often seen in anime costumes at the condominium lobby, was last spotted earlier in the day with a woman believed to be her mother.

Her body was sent to the Penang Hospital Forensic Department around 12.30am for a post-mortem.

Police are investigating the case.

BALIK PULAU: Seorang wanita berpakaian kostum anime menyerupai karakter ‘Kurumi Tokisaki’ ditemukan maut selepas dipercayai terjatuh dari sebuah kondominium di Bayan Lepas, malam tadi.
Dalam kejadian kira-kira jam 9.20 malam itu, mayat mangsa dijumpai orang awam di kawasan parkir berhampiran blok kediaman selepas mereka terdengar bunyi dentuman kuat.
Seorang penduduk yang enggan dikenali berkata, dia terdengar bunyi dentuman sebelum keluar rumah untuk memeriksanya.


“Pada mulanya kami (penduduk) sangka bunyi gegaran, tetapi apabila keluar rumah ternampak seorang wanita sudah terbaring di atas jalan,” katanya.
Mangsa sebelum ini dilihat sering berada di kawasan lobi kondominium dengan memakai kostum anime.
Difahamkan, kali terakhir mangsa kelihatan bersama seorang wanita dipercayai ibunya pada hari kejadian.

Life is difficult especially when you have problems and you got someone to listen but you were shooted instead and you disappointed and found no way to handle and seek for suicide.

I think many condos every where got suicide cases, but the developers/managements/tenants decided not to make noise only. Even at my condo (KL) got 2 suicide cases so far, not publicised at all. Only one time masuk surat khabar got a homocidal case (foreigners berebut GF).

More jialat news? one time the police decided to rent a unit at ground floor since the police station was renovated, the unit became a small temporary police station. Then after many months they realised another ground floor unit (back of condo) was a drug making laboratory lol (operated by foreigners). Never got publicised in news at all.

victim not just typical mom-to-be (willing or terlanjur). Even normal pregnant ladies also have bouts of depression caused by hormonal changes . Most survived coz got partner /husband to offer emotional support.

And this case here , she was a cosplayer , so must maintain body shape to continue her passion . Compounded by the jantan that abandoned her, can see why suicidal tendencies reach critical mass.

Cosplay Pregnant Woman Dies in Building Fall

04.09.2025 - A woman in her 20s was found dead, believed to have fallen from the 28th floor of a condominium here, yesterday. It is understood that the woman's body was found in the condominium parking lot by a member of the public at around 9pm. Southwest District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Sazalee Adam said the woman involved was five months pregnant and was believed to have just been left by her lover, but further investigations are underway.

"The case is classified as sudden death (SDR)," he said when contacted by Harian Metro here, today.

However, his party will provide a further statement in the near future. Previously, the incident went viral on social media where residents claimed to have heard a loud bang before finding the victim lying in the parking lot. A picture of the woman allegedly dressed as an anime character before the incident also went viral. Meanwhile, the Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) Operations Commander, Muhammad Firdaus Mohamad Saad said that his party received a call at 12.43 midnight last night. He said that his party went to the location to assist the police in a special cleaning operation around the area. According to him, the cleaning work used an auxiliary flow of water starting from the fire engine pump until it was completely finished.
