Do you notice?, There are less insects or frog these day

I live fairly near a jungle.
Let say 10 years ago I always see cicada(green/brown), frogs and big grasshopper(close to the length of my palm).
Early morning after rain there at times there will be bees swarming my lamp post.
But these days I rarely see them maybe none. Feel sad for my kids that they won't be able to enjoy nature as I did. Maybe we use too much chemicals

Yes, my childhood times will heard frogs croaking during raining days and cicadas buzzing during hotter days..
Now completely gone... what i can see is big lizard inside longkang..

Dragonfly I see when I was a kid was nice red or green. Now some dirty colour one.
Millipede still got once in a while but more common in my area is black one with yellow stripe.
Grasshopper still got small small ones.
Don't care for cicada. All night make noise. Wanna catch make even louder noise. Spray ridsect je.
