Say WW3 breaks out ,
and the fact all china neighbours have the unsolved land claims , CN have too many hidden enemies.
I see nearly all will fight china to get back the land. and a chance to get more chinese land .
i see china broken up into a few states after the war. these breakaway states may join to fight the BJ GOV.
this is one scenario that can play out.
