Pretty sure he attracts top tier talents

If you wanna compensate top guys from the agency who have the personality and talent to do so -

And if u wanna curi gaji - in these kind of company - damn fucking hard- coz everyone wanna work hard and achieve together.

Wish more companies r heading towards that direction.

Long term doesn't work unless the CEO take time to kick out troublemakers. All it takes is one person to play kiasu create problems then ppl start asking why this person only do x but paid more than him.

Looking at the size of the employee pool, still manageable, if passed certain threshold let say 50 -100 employees, problem tend to surface.

some companies have decided to be transparent on their salaries so that everyone is paid fairly

some companies purposely tell employees their salary is confidential to prevent you from knowing the biasness in the salary payment

New gen's fantasy: High pay, less work, got people teach n spoon feed, free snacking anytime of the day, big bonuses, lots of allowances, company trips, company events, work from home, can change computer every year, change headsets every year... Now salary is open to all...

Too simplistic view. Not all work is equal. Two ppl in same role same project also different work load.

Plenty of time where staff hear from other or accident see payslip of others find out he paid lesser in same role they bising ady. This is human nature. Deswai cannot share celery or income to others. Ppl will feel envy cause whole team moral to drop.

Most ppl too emotional. You can pay evryone in same role and team the same, ppl will still feel angry when see another member doing "easy" part while he needs to tapao the "hard" part

Sound good in theory. In practice ppl too kiasu.

actually more than that

work different, work load different, skillset different, knowledge different, efficiency different

many times when someone looked relax, it's not because he/she worked less...he/she just streamlined his/her workflow already
so everything is fast and smooth or that person has a skillset that nobody else has which is why he/she got paid that much

hence i will always say if you can do what he/she did, i don't mind paying you that much

Pay transparency is quite common in certain European countries. The job ad will state the annual salary range for the role....So everyone has an idea about the range, not the exact dollars and cents...Here in MY, I guess the gap is too big, hence no employer will advertise it...

here, everybody is low pay...that's why employers here don't dare to do it

everybody is underpaid here or the gap is way too big sometimes for certain position

There is range of salary for roles, now responsibilities for similar type roles may differ.

Thus do own due diligence & ensure you are compensated as fairly as possible within your acceptable merits.

I know a friend company let's everyone knows their "basic pay" but "final pay" is secret.

Like everyone base pay is RM3000. There is

RM200 for full attendance, MC and valid reason to be late counted as "full" also.

RM600 for reaching KPI.

RM700-RM1500 for assisting oversea branch, you will get this if you are good in Chinese/German/Korean. The more language you master, the higher the extra pay.

So one month someone can reach a max of RM5300.

my company also let staff know about salary for all job grades... what to hide.... as every job grade has min - max salary ceiling, annual increment %, technical pay per grade, allowances per grade.... bonus % per job grade and how to calculate the bonus...

no favoritism, no need suspicious if boss treats u good or not...or HR is honest or not .....

i think only local companies scare ppl know abt the salary scales... scare ppl know that they underpaid the staff...lol
