infrastructure still not ready for long-distance travel on EV unfortunately in malaysia. give it another 5 years hopefully the infra will be better. i recall got those portable battery chargers for EV (not sure got sell in malaysia or not)? maybe can buy those just in case..

In reality the infra will be stangnant ..now EV car reaching 800km range..u can drive from KL to JB and back without need use public charger..less user ..no motivation for the installer to add more charger.

That is not the question. Imagine all existing petrol stations become EV charging stations. I would say that even if every existing pump is converted to EV charge point, it would still not enough to make EV car journey smooth enough disregarding the 30 min charge time.  sad.gif

Last time I think like you.

In actual fact, the biggest competitor to the public charging facility is the lowly 7kw Ac charging at home.

Imagine 20,000 home chargers @7kw.... It is already out there.

No one wants to sit at the petrol charging station.

Edit: with Petrol...all user have no choice but Petrol dispenser... With home charger...it is a different type of freedom. You will not own a petrol station, and you will be happy.

If you travel long distance trips daily then EV is not for you. Simple as that no need ayoyo about it.
I never use any charging station at all, rumah can charged daily, easier than go petrol station daily.

Since when I ayoyoyo, i merely giving my opinion and preference.

Giving out my opinion so that they can improve, at least they know what the potential market is all about. Ain't this kinda feedback is good for them?

My outstation trip is not daily but quite frequent especially holidays
