General RapidKL website says 6am. Is 6am starting from the last station like Putra Height / Gombak? How about those mid stations?
Let's say I want to take a train from Asia Jaya to KLCC as early as possible. If 6am train departs from Putra Height, it will take a long time (50 minutes?) before it even arrives at Asia Jaya.

I believe certain stations they will open the shuttle door before 6am as listed, I personally had camped once and they opened at 5.45am but at SS15 station together with few other random people on Sunday. It was 3 months ago. Did it on March this year

I never took first train before so not sure what exact time it start, but assume that if it 6am depart from Putra Heights, using RapidKL Journey Planner, set departure before 6am to simulate first train time,
Putra Heights to Asia Jaya will be around 6.46am, to KLCC will be around 7.15am.

this. dunno how accurate it is. I simulate Bangsar to KL Sentral. ktards say train is as early as 6am everywhere. this planner says NO. if I wait at Bangsar station at 6am, I reach KL Sentral at 7am. doh.gif

for first time, suggest to go there slightly earlier to verify if the schedule is accurate (+/- few minutes due to operational factor), logically it should start 6am from both end station la laugh.gif but it might also put some trains at certain mid station because waiting until 7am for first train is kinda late, would need verify by self or need input from someone who took first train from mid station.

I had never used their rapidKL apps before, I always use Google Maps

But I have been using Kelana Jaya train for years, if you wanna estimate when you will reach there then I usually do like this:

- each station will take about 3mins, but if worse case scenario then 3.5 or 4mins for each station
- don't forget to add in waiting time for train. Either every +3mins during peak hour OR 7-10mins outside of peak hour

for example
Putra Heights to Asia Jaya: 16 stations x 3mins = 48min, plus waiting time then ~55mins

Putra Heights to KLCC: 27 stations x 3mins = 81mins or 1hr 21mins, plus waiting time then ~1hr 30mins

This is assuming the train is in healthy status, no stuck or delay status.

PH stn to AJ stn is approximate 40 minutes commuting. No stuck or delay.

Each stn stop is less than a minute except for transit stn SJ and USJ 7.

PH stn to KLCC stn ... 11 stations ?

just used Moovit app set to tomorrow departure 6AM; it says first train from Asia Jaya LRT station is at 6.09AM.

U can install the app and give it a try. I find it quite useful...but the ads on the free version can be annoying.

general info. there are coaches standby at designated major or main stations and 1st departure is earlier than 6am.

i am sharing my experience at kinrara bk5 lrt where there is a coach ready that leaves at 550am.

i suggest you enquire from respective stations on its 1st departure time. imo, there could be an earlier ones than kinrara bk5.
