Csble-car to 2800 meters above sea-level started running… saw from my toilet-window now. I better hurry….

Saw a car from Austria earlier… all other cars are from ‘I’….

The Mt Etna Volcano was silent today, no activities except for done fumes seen at the peak of the volcano. The guide advised us that he can take us to see lava in a cave. We opted to go….

Will show more later on this hike & climb. Tired tonight after doing this morning’s climb.

Trullo Houses at Alberrobelo….

Decided to add more details here because when I first created this input,
I was on the streets. Chatted with Brazilians and Italians at the Panoramic
Viewpoint. Had a Kampari with them, a local aperitif of the Puglia Region.

Visited an Olive Oil Manufacturing Facility too, and did ‘olive oil tasting’, conceptually similar to wine-tasting. By drinking or with bread… We chose the latter.

Bought a few bottles.

Time to move on…. We’ve visited the whole country of Italy…And made many friends, chatted with many people.

Ahh yes, just before we put Italy aside, would like to share a few more shots of the climb of Mt Etna, a live volcano on the Island of Sicily…

Mt Etna, there is white fumes billowing from the peak-crater…

The track was dangerous at some points when the slope falls to the bottom just beside us.

We were brought to a cave where hot-lava still flows. Climbed a narrow gorge which was a path taken by lava flows thousands of years ago. And there is a crack here where hot steam billows up from a cave and the air was warm thought it began to snow…
