So far mine was on auto update for Win 11. I heard about possible corruption but I do not bother. For far never had any problem.

Heard MS has removed permanent disable auto-update. Is this include OS too or just apps?

Got my work laptop ssd fked too, forced to buy new ssd and reinstall windows. Although original ssd data was still mostly intact and functional afterwards

But was actually because want test some laptop components because previous BSOD blue screen became bit more frequently especially overnight or middle of meetings. But went test ssd with write test till fk the ssd, later became unbootable with only BSOD

MSI Spatium SSD died today. Totally undetectable. Wasted 1TB for nothing. Luckily no important data inside.

Don't tipu lah. Unless you don't use that computer for online banking. All the banks pakat forced you to use latest browsers.

There are some "forks" of Firefox but I doubt those are accepted or even can work on some modern sites.

Is it this issue? How to know whether my SSD will be affected? So far nothing happened yet, I didn't transfer 50GB of data in one go.

Put it at other mainboard/enclosure, run Testdisk to fix the partition, the boot back using windows recovery setup and run BCD repair on it.

bootrec /rebuildbcd

Huh? How to do that?

I noticed Win 11 don't have System Recovery anymore in Settings. Wtf la Microsoft?

Should I worry about this issue if so far my SSD hasn't been bricked yet? I'm worried that trying to rollback the update might cause issues instead?

Also how to check whether my SSD is affected?

Oh wait wait, I found System Restore, but the last restore point was 22 August. Fuck.
