Ok guys.. I just want to ask if its worth taking these or not..
I asked around for prices and this is what i got..
Fender Standard Strat
From china: RM595
From Mexico: RM2000++
Ibanez GRG150
RM690
Ibanez JS series
from japan: RM6000++
from korea: RM2000++
My question is.. what's the diff between the place of manufacture? Between china and mex, i know mexico is the original ones.. bt whats the diff? Is the china one a good buy???
And whats the diff between the japan and korea version of the JS series??
I play lots of songs like songs from Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson and modern rock songs.. Which of the 3 you would recommend??
I'm also thinking of the Ibanez RG2570EX
HELP!!

Firstly there is the wood. The higher it is priced basicly it derives from the fact it was made from a very prcious,limited,high quality wood. Wood, wood, wood ahh yes wood. The natural resource that is one of the most vital elemnt in a guitar contruction.
Second part is the hardware. If the pickups are from a middle-age dude who plays guitar with white hair all over his head and it is recognize all around the world as Seymour Duncan or Larry DiMarzio, then expect the pickup alone would add around RM1000+ excluding liquid bearing tremolo's that were built by so-called engineers, machine heads that is as precise as an Omega timepiece, color scheme that usually found on cars, helmets or even a 'cannibalized' artwork done by one of the most respected guitarist of all time. For all of that, the price would add up from a min of RM1000+ to a whooping RM20k. Common, dont tell me to built a 'goldleaf' guitar that resembles one of the guitar used by clapton costs that 1/3 of the price to built?
And third would be the most important thing of all....The 'Brand' name itself...I can built a guitar from the exact same tree as FENDER,GIBSON,IBANEZ,PRS, lay down the same 'blingy' hardware and still i can't sell em at only 1/5 price, compared to the previously mentioned manufacturer...Owh yeah...and who plays the guitar as well...thats what really 'blinds' our sense of judgement when we start shopping for a guitar.
Places which are being made is so widely known as 'cost saving' or budget cost lowered in order to built the product itself...If all guitar would be made in USA, with the current exchange rate, nobody will be walking around with a Fender/Gibson/etc...And who ever walks around with one, he/she must be careful as ninja due to the fact that somebody will rob them.
