What do you think the price of HSR?

I just checked on KITS KL Sentral to Kluang from 30 Aug to first week of Sept. No trips available.

RM80 is kinda steep though. So when the line reaches JB in future, a trip from KL sentral is gonna cost even more.

cannot solve traffic jam problem as usual in malaysia.

I think it's between 25 to 50 depending on classes. 80 is all the way to JB. That is more or less the price to Penang

KL Sentral - Butterworth average is about 90. Sometimes 100+.

So, expect KL Sentral - JB Sentral to be around that.

These are just economy class prices.

Nope. Got 3 category for Penang

Gold is economy at about 70

Platinum about 80/90

Express is about 100

Ipoh fare is about half of the fare to Penang so Kluang should be around Ipoh fare

aaah ok RM80 to JB is more reasonable. KL Sentral -Butterworth usually costs me under 70 for gold and nearly 90 for platinum.

4 seats in a row is economy class - a class that is worse than express bus seats, only the straighter route and "less" congestion make it comparable or slightly better.

3 seats is business class.

Gold is normally not usable, because the hours are usually bad. It is priced low because nobody travels at those hours...... They don't match hotel check in and checkout time. Yet it is usually filled up the fastest, because there are people who really want to save money, so they adjust their travel patterns. Normal travelers won't use Gold, because they have hotel stays either at the origin or destination, or both.

So, only platinum and express are reasonable choices. Which means 90 to 100+.

Ok lah i think is still reasonable other than waiting time u dun need long traffic jam at highway during peak season or raya time

One way toll fees dah RM 30?50? Approximately 300km how much fuel is use if own car? Price for fueling/charging

And probably safer than road travel at least you don't very often get killed by big lorry/bus/reckless driving/rempit/hobby kami mahal chance reduce death risk is kinda low

i'm very aware of that. And redbus credited my wallet with RM20...making it even cheaper. but i like riding trains

Labis/Bekok ada National Parks. Not many people go also but it is a destination for some.
