Hi there..

Can anyone share their experiences with the cheapest sim. I need to use for business calls which will be on Whatsapp only. So, no phone calls, no sms, no internet, nothing actually, just an active number (say for a year). Which telco/package can do that ?

Go with ONEXOX then, they have 36 month validity Sim, just need to buy their starter pack

yes u need to go to store ask if they still got stock.

if no stock then just buy the existing prepaid starter pack rm10 with rm5 credit inside, and use hotlink app to change plan to pantas, the cost is rm2

Assuming Whatsapp on Wifi only. I use Digi Prepaid Live/Best/Next, topup RM5 every 95 days, 1 yr is RM20 which can be used to buy vouchers or for carrier billing.

If Digi Kuning, it's topup RM5 every 65 days, RM30 for 1 yr.

If you just want a number...
No need send sms no need data no need outgoing call

You use Yes, just buy RM1 1GB data pack monthly to extend the validity, which means RM12 per year

or u send the alarm when it is going to expire then you buy the data pack, because the grace period is slightly more than 1 month
