Experience: 10 years
Package inclusive all allowances & everything: MYR12000
Work nature: 70% Office, 30% Offshore

New offer (verbally by agent)
Industry: O&G, engineering, EPCC
Base: QAR18000
Housing: QAR7000-11000
Transport: QAR1500
Work nature: Probably the same ratio as current or less
Other allowance (offshore, etc): Not specify by agent
Other benefits: Medical, education, yearly flight tickets

For now I do ask the agency to negotiate with the client. Should I go for it if the client said the offer are final? Have been aiming for middle east position for quite a while. Was expecting the pay gap are huge, but seems a bit disappointing.

take it jer especially if still single. My brother left Petronas and go to Oman Oil. He stay there for 6 years only because all kids mau masuk universiti already and it is cheaper studying in Malaysia. He said should jump ovesea job early. But still the salary is very high already in Oman.

Moral of Story, go early and plan your life from that.

If you are still single or should I say your family is still young (kids) go for it.

Qatar package isnt as great as before but still a lot better than Msia... If single take it as stepping stone for higher remuneration in near future..
