i finally found the cause why my internet to disconnect every 5 minutes. Its transmission (torrent client). im running on leopard and using izzi broadband. What should i do?

Izzi do throttle P2P u know... so, don't use P2P on wireless networks!

but a lot of ppl using izzi run p2p on their machine and it works. Could it be the bandwidth? or izzi cap the usage on each user?

Added on November 14, 2007, 11:18 amjust talked to izzi technician. They do throttle p2p and i have to reset transmission preferences:

download speed: less than 40kbps
upload speed: 50% of download speed
active torrents: 2
Seeding: 1

gonna try this tonite, see if it works..
