When I closed it, there is no noise and vibration. If I open it, the noise and vibration are there, unless I turn smaller.

How to fix loud noise in water pipes in toilet?

Try opening the valve all the way first to see if it helps.

Dismantle pipe valve and also others pipe in the toilet. Let it flow the water until the air trapped inside the piping flew out.

QUOTE(COOLPINK @ Aug 19 2025, 09:56 AM) From your picture im inclined to say you need to replace the rubber washer as it looks very old already. How to replace? Can't take it out.QUOTE(MR_alien @ Aug 19 2025, 10:03 AM) Yes, it is concealed and I have no way to open the whole without ketuk the wall first. What is the effective way to flush out the air inside? From AI
To get air out of water pipes, start by shutting off the main water supply valve. Then, open all faucets and flush toilets to drain the system. Finally, turn the main water supply back on slowly and open each faucet to let the air escape until the water flows steadily. Here's a more detailed breakdown: 1. Turn off the main water supply: Locate the main water valve, usually near the water meter, and turn it off to stop the flow of water. 2. Open all faucets and flush toilets: This allows the water and trapped air to drain from the pipes. Start with the highest point in your house (e.g., the top floor) and work your way down. 3. Turn the main water supply back on: Slowly turn the main valve back on to allow water to flow back into the system. 4. Release the air: Open each faucet halfway, starting from the highest point and working your way down, to let the air escape. You may hear sputtering or air hissing at first. 5. Close the faucets: Once the water flows steadily from each faucet without sputtering, close them one by one, starting from the lowest level and working your way up. If the problem persists, you may need to contact a professional plumber to investigate further. |
