Heh I don't think you need 50W just for practising at home sweat.gif

30W is more than enough.

why do you need EQ when you practice? Tone doesn't matter when you practice unless you're really not disciplined enough to sit down and take a few minutes of crappy tone tongue.gif

I bought a Peavey Microbass for my brother after he research thru the internet & audition some brands. The Bass Player Magazine voted Peavey Microbass to be the best. I think so too cause it sounded quite good. It sounded like a big amp...IMHO

By now i dun know who reign the throne. However gettin a second hand is a best bet....

I sometimes repair bass amps and let him have a try. Wow rclxub.gif my whole house shakes especially the sliding door whenever he strike a note. I don't recommen big bass amp for practise unles your house is an auditorium.

Prefer to have two amps, one for practise and one for gigs.

If done with practising you can hold a ceramah session with your peavey microbass. That what i did....
