Most tenants also dont even bother with grass on terrace house unless they like gardening. Most is they cut once a year when approaching festive celebration.

Why pay to cut the grass when they don't use the land ?

The demand from a tenant to furnish the house is never ending. After that, it gets damaged because he don't care or is cheapo quality fix by landlord.

Not many landlords are lucky to have a good tenants.

For your case, gip it a coat of paint & install a kitchen cabinet. The rest, ask the tenant to do it and you charge a cheaper rent compare to your neighbours.

You either

1. Rent dirt cheap
2. Fully furnish it until very grand that kind of furnish

If rent full furnish, then go for homestay business.

My previous homestay business, if every weekend occupied, make money oredi. Weekday booking considered bonus.

Provided there must be something around the area to let people use the homestay. Not necessary tourist attractions.
