Best is to ask them what kind of after death services that they wanted, I understand that it might be quite difficult to ask this kind of question , but use your EQ to ask and I am sure they will be happy to let you knoe what they want when they are gone.

I let you knoe what kind of after death services I wanted if I am gone.
I just wanted a very simple ritual.
No big band to send me off , no chanting or praying party.
Just plain soft music during my 1 day wake if frens & family want to come see me 1 last time ( I am a Chinese , born Buddhist but actually a non believer cause its Ai age now )
Once cremated , just strewn my ashes into the ocean will be good enough.
