[Place holder for now for more detailed description]

I attempted to migrate from FreePBX to 3cx after I screwed up existing configuration in FReePBX causing it not able to start.

After I installed 3CX, I noticed my existing connection from Mitel IP phones, are not supported. Outgoing SIP trunk to TM and Time also not working as expected. It seems it is sending unexpected SIP header when trying to authenticate with Time and TM SIP Server.

Reinstalling FreePBX back.

I wanted to try out FreePBX too but sadly haven't got the hardware & time to play with it... possible to share your hardware specs and the TM package you have subscribed ?

I was thinking of playing it with my home Unifi, just for fun & POC and explore more on FreePBX features.

Cheers... cool2.gif

My Unifi package is the standard 500 MBps package

But first you need to find out the SIP Information of your Unifi voice service. How to get it is a problem. When I attempted to obtain the information for the first time 4-5 years ago, the customer service don't even understand what shit I am talking about and answer with gibberish. I need to do some escalation to obtain those info.

Maybe if you have extra budget to spend, maybe can subscribe for DID from online providers ?

https://www.sippals.com/our-services/phone-numbers
call centric ( requires MCMC approval. )
twilio (You need to pay for monthly rate + per minute incoming charge. This support mobile numbers) (requires MCMC approval ).
Alien voip

Or you can purchase a 4G voip gateway from Taobao

You might have to register SSM just for that. Some they only sell for business instead of individuals like Redone

Maybe you can negotiate with TM / Time to provide those information, otherwise request for rebate so you have the extra budget for alternatives.

...

Oh gosh these kinds of hobbies are really expensive.

I did considered those subscriptions, as I'm still playing the FreePBX around, no point for me to invest first until I have a good understanding how it works and others functionality.

Sadly, I'm not a rich kind of guy, so I'm always looking for alternative & if possible... FREE... tongue.gif biggrin.gif
