Creating a new topic here. I rma my FSP Hydro G Pro 1000w atx 3.0 and been given a choice to replace with FSP Vita GM 1000w atx 3.1 or Super Flower Leadex iii 1000w atx 3.1 . I'm abit conflicted bcoz Vita GM only have 2 pcie 6+2pins and Leadex iii is only 5 years warranty. Which one should i choose?

Triple 8 pin pcie will be RTX 5080 onwards. Are you going to go this far? It also comes with native 12V 2X6 (12VHPWR ) connector.

I noticed distributor here in MY (sun cycle) only provides 5 years warranty for super flower leadex iii. out of MY it's actually 10 years.

but anyway super flower PSUs are solid, been using their PSUs since 2019. back in 2019 was also using their leadex iii.

FSP also good, my first PSU brand was FSP Hydro G lineup.

so the only diff is whether u want more PCIe slots in the future, or no need that much. since both offers native 12vhpwr (12V-2x6) port with 12+4 pin connector suitable for nvidia 40 series and above. unless future GPUs require 2x 16-pin..

Superflower Leadex III is A Tier

TBH I'd pick the Leadex III, due to the better quality fan

I'm using rx 7900xtx but u can see even upper middle range rx9070xt now starts to use 3 x 6+2pins. I dont think Amd will move to vhpwr cable in the next 2 years.
