For sub mean 0.5uF, 1.0uF, 1.5uF & 2.0 uF cap...
For SQ use, 1.0 uF enough already.

Ya, for component also can use for the one who play passive xover.

Since we're talking about such small values in microfarads (µF), you must be talking about capacitors for crossover networks, right?

If you're looking at power capacitors, I would recommend 1 farad for each amplifier (up to 1000w). I would prefer not to share a single cap with multiple amps. And if you buy the China made caps or even branded commercial ones, most likely they are all made in the same factory in China.

If you're looking for caps that actually make a difference, a minimum would be a Helix/Brax up to the handmade ones made by specialist capacitor manufacturers such as Mundorf (Germany), Jensen (Denmark) etc.

So apart from specialist capacitor, intalling a China made cap wont do anything different?? so 1 farad can approximately useful for amplifier up to 1000w..and if using amp with 1000+w will need a higher farad cap??

Sadly, many caps out there are for cosmetic purposes and are low quality mass produced. Using them does not help your sound system and worst, could put more strain to your charging system.

I don't think you'll be using an amp with continuous power (RMS ) of 1000watts, while taking into account the efficiency of the amplifiers and capability of our charging system. Honestly speaking a good 1 farad capacitor per amplifier is more than sufficient.

Btw, we have Helix DPC1000 (with voltage display) 1 farad smart capacitor clearing at only RM680. Our Mundorf 1 farad cap is going for RM750. Prices for the Mundorf is expected to rise next year due to the increase of the currency rate which we have yet adjusted.
