apparently me mum bought one of these hydrogen inhaler machine (maybe not the same model & brand) and claimed it will help with her GERD and asthma. she spent RM3k on it.

how to use: inhale using the breathing apparatus, or drink the hydrogen-infused water
alleged health benefits; reduced inflammation, allergies, etc the usual MLM 'all-cure/panacea' claims

the brand & description of this product and it's so called 'health benefits' screamed like typical MLM snake oil to me and made me a bit angry at her for falling for yet another MLM snake oil for so many times, and the sale agents for scamming the elderly.
thinking logically, why would you even need hydrogen-infused air or water when hydrogen is already there in the composition of air and water that's already around you and the water u drink.

but as I googled around more, there are several research articles (not much, but there are a few) of 'oxyhydrogen therapy' and evidences of health benefits from such therapy. One from KKM even; KKM MAHTAS

granted, the oxyhydrogen inhaler machines the hospitals using are different models than these MLM machines, probably more sophisticated and different mixture ratio of oxygen & hydrogen

so idk, what u guys think, snake oil? still feels like a snake oil for me

not just studied chemistry, she was a retired chemistry teacher. bro, literally the same thing I kept telling her again & again for so many years; "you were a chemistry teacher for god's sake, think logically for just one sec before buying all these stuff!"
but what to do, some of us have stubborn parent

pretty sure it's generated by the machine via electrolysis. not sure on the concentration but that's another concern as well, i know very well how dangerous/flammable hydrogen can be.
