Background
This approach felt abrupt and out of the ordinary and it’s not how such matters were handled previously. I couldn’t help but feel disrespected and somewhat publicly shamed in front of the new joiner. The incident has been bothering me since.
Your resignation also abrupt , and how matters handled previously no longer apply since previously you were assumed to stick around much longer in the firm. So do you expect orevious SOP continue to apply as if you're still working in the firm for the coming months This approach felt abrupt and out of the ordinary and it’s not how such matters were handled previously. ?
So what your manager did also might be abrupt , but its expected , and logical as well.
If you felt disrespected , I tend to believe your departure is a blessing to the firm .
