Hi all,

Currently I have this Sonoff MINIR4M. I need some clarification regarding compatibility with my autogate wall switch. Either this MINIR4M or Mini-D Dry Contact.

I am planning to use pulse mode, this relay will be in between my wall pushback switch (function - open/close gate) and the autogate. Mainly I am using this because it supports Apple Home. Those commonly used relay in the autogate box does not support Apple Home so its not an option for me. Does anyone know if this will work? My autogate is sliding gate and motor is CASA ASIA. I have done some research and some users have claimed it worked for them, but when I check with one electrician (to pull neutral wire), he keeps saying it will not work without justification. I will probably find another legit electrician for pulling the neutral wire.

Sooo I just bought the Mini-D which supports dry contact. Should I install it at the autogate board? Since I need to connect to the NO and COM. The thing is... my autogate has no backup battery so there is no 12v power to tap into?

I cant upload images coz lowyat system seems to having gateway error. Can you see the attachment? Seems like I should connect DC 12v + to '+PWR' and DC 12V - to 'COM'. But unsure which one is NO and COM. I checked some similar video on youtube and they say is the right side P.SW two connectors.

Is COM (of the mini d relay) supposed to connect to P.SW ('right connector') or to the COM (same connection with the DC 12V -)? Refer the last picture, is this correct?
12V+ -> +PWR
12V- -> COM (link with relay COM before connect)

NO -> P.SW (left connector)
COM -> COM of the board (link with relay 12V- before connect)
